Wetlands Wildlife Safari
Picture it. A beaver silently swims around a bend in the willow bank. With a slap of his tail, he disappears under the water. Above, a group of curious herons look down from their perches in their rookery. On the other side of the river, the lush, snow capped peaks of the Columbia Mountains tower high above, forming a backdrop that seems like it was taken from a postcard. Now, picture yourself sitting comfortably on a luxurious cataraft, smack dab in the middle of this wonderland with all the sounds and smells of the wetlands bringing this scene to life. This scenario plays out every day on our Wetlands Wildlife Safari.
